The Red Cross shelter at the Lincoln Community Center in Highland has been relocated to Pierce Middle School in Merrillville. Officials say the new location is more convenient for those affected by the tornadoes and severe weather across Lake County. Since the onset of severe weather, the Indiana Region of the American Red Cross says it has provided more than 240 overnight stays to impacted individuals.
