In Crown Point, the Lake County Health Department invites residents to its 2nd Annual Health & Safety Fair on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. More than 30 local organizations, healthcare providers, and public safety partners will attend to provide information for Lake County residents. Attendees can enjoy free health screenings, safety demonstrations, community resources, refreshments, and more. The event takes place at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point.
“Together for a Healthier Lake County means embracing whole body wellness through movement, nutrition, mindfulness, connection, and caring for one another,” said Dr. Chandana Vavilala, Health Officer of Lake County Health Department. “In essence, when we commit to simple, healthy habits and support those around us, we build a healthier future for everyone. Our annual Health & Safety Fair reflects that commitment by connecting residents with the services, programs, and resources that help individuals, families, and neighborhoods thrive because building a healthier Lake County takes all of us”.
The event is free and open to the public, and registration is not required. Residents of all ages are encouraged to attend and explore the many programs, services, and resources available within their community.
