United Way Northwest Indiana’s Day of Caring is happening Friday, September 18, 2026, as hundreds of neighbors come together to give back across northwest Indiana, and volunteers are encouraged to visit the website and sign up to help. With more than 150 volunteer projects throughout the region planned during the annual event, there are opportunities for individuals, businesses, organizations, and teams to get involved.
