In Crown Point, school officials say Crown Point High School broadcasting students will produce live television coverage of the high school football matchup against Valparaiso on Friday, September 26, 2025. The game, airing at 7:00 PM on Marquee Sports Network and streaming on the Marquee Sports Network App, is part of the network’s Community Showcase program. Throughout the 2025-26 school year, Crown Point Television (CPTV) students participate in monthly virtual workshops led by Marquee, covering play-by-play announcing, marketing, live event production, and sports network operations.
“This opportunity represents what we strive for in our broadcasting program: real-world application, professional mentorship, and the chance for our students to showcase their talents on a major platform,” said Chris Gloff, CPTV teacher and adviser. “Our students have been working tirelessly to prepare for this moment, and it’s a great experience for their futures in media and communications.” Crown Point students will handle all production aspects, from camera operation and graphics to play-by-play commentary and a short half-time video.
“Marquee Sports Network is proud to collaborate with the talented student producers at Crown Point High School for this special broadcast,” said Allison Bertucci, Marquee Network’s Vice President of Programming. “This partnership reflects our commitment to nurturing the next generation of sports media professionals by providing real-world experience and continued learning opportunities through exclusive online workshops with our team.”
For individuals planning to attend the game in person, tickets will be available at www.crownpointathletics.com . Crown Point High School is a cashless gate, so tickets bought at the gate must be via credit or debit card, and purchasing tickets online in advance is encouraged.
