UPDATE: In Lake County – an update on a road closure near Crown Point, the Cline Avenue-U.S. 231 Intersection closure originally scheduled for Monday, September 29, 2025, has been moved to Monday October 6, 2025. The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says the closure is for additional NIPSCO utility relocations ahead of roundabout construction scheduled to begin in spring 2026. The detour will follow 101st Avenue, Parrish Avenue, 117th Avenue, Burr Street and Fathke Road.
