In Lake County, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says State Road 2 will be closed west of Lowell for about a month for water main installation. The closure on State Road 2 will be from Parrish Avenue to U.S. 41 starting on or after Monday, March 23, 2026, and continuing through mid-April 2026. The official detour will follow U.S. 41, State Road 10 and Interstate 65.
