West Lafayette — Purdue Extension is now accepting registrations for the Grass to Garden Virtual Program, a course designed to help participants start and manage community-based gardens. It will be held on four consecutive Thursdays on April 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2026, 10am to noon Eastern, 9 to 11am Central. The curriculum is intended for nonprofit staff, community volunteers, local officials, and garden enthusiasts. It’s also a way to connect with a statewide network of community gardeners. The cost is $50 which includes a comprehensive Grass to Garden manual, access to all four live virtual sessions, and expert guidance from experienced educators throughout the program. Registration deadline is March 27, 2026, 12 noon Eastern/ 11am Central.
