In northwest Indiana, Strack & Van Til says customers will have the opportunity to help out Humane Indiana and support local wildlife during a week-long checkout challenge campaign. Monday, May 4, 2026, through Sunday, May 10, 2026, shoppers at all 22 Strack & Van Til locations across the Region and the Town & Country store in Valparaiso can round up their purchases at checkout with all donations benefiting Humane Indiana Wildlife. Funds raised will directly support Humane Indiana’s Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, which provides care for thousands of injured, orphaned, and displaced wild animals each year. Nicole Harmon, Senior Director of Wildlife Rehabilitation said the support comes at a critical time as each spring and summer Humane Indiana sees an influx of injured and orphaned animals.
