Container Gardening with Native Plants Workshop

In Michigan City, Region residents are invited to join Save the Dunes and the La Porte County Master Gardeners for a”Container Gardening with Natives Workshop” Saturday June 6, 2026, at 11 am– an event especially meant for people who live in an apartment, condo, or other living space without access to traditional gardening. Participants will learn from Save the Dunes staff and master gardeners on planting practices, overwintering, and the importance of natives in increasing pollinator habitat – but space is limited, with priority given to those without access to traditional gardening plots.
