In Pulaski County, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says a section of State Road 39 is set to close on or after on or after Tuesday, August 25, 2026, for a bridge deck overlay preventive maintenance project over Emmett Ditch. The closure, between County Roads 400 North and 500 North, is just a little south of North Judson in Starke County and be in effect through late September. State Road 39 is also closed between State Road 10 and State Road 8 in Starke County, so the official detour will follow State Road 14, U.S. 35 and State Road 8.
