As students return to campus, Governor Mike Braun’s statewide tuition freeze is making college more affordable at all 15 of Indiana’s public colleges and universities, main and regional campuses. At Governor Braun’s request, the state’s public higher education institutions froze tuition and mandatory fees for in-state undergrads for the 2025-26 academic year, and they’ll continue this historic freeze through the 2026-27 year, a news release said. It marks the first time in Indiana history that every public higher education institution in the state has simultaneously held tuition and mandatory fees flat for two consecutive years. “Hoosier students are returning to campus with tuition frozen at every public college and university in Indiana for the second year. Indiana’s public institutions answered my call to find efficiencies and put students and their families first. In Indiana, your higher education dollar stretches further,” said Governor Braun.
